"Free" Players I’m Targeting at ADP in Best Ball Drafts🎆
Some players with round 15+ ADPs that I’m targeting in best ball drafts.
In the spirit of 4th of July weekend, it felt like an opportune time to talk through some “free” players that I’m targeting in the last rounds of Underdog best ball drafts. I’m classifying “free” as players with ADPs after 168, which is round 15 and beyond on Underdog.
The five (5) players below are great clicks towards the end of your drafts. I perceive their profiles as stronger than those surrounding them, with stronger chances than said surrounding players to shoot up draft boards as the offseason progresses. Let’s get right into it…

Jaylin Noel (WR78, 178.0 Overall)
Noel has been dropping like a rock in terms of ADP, falling almost 2 full rounds from round 13 to round 15 over the past month. However, nothing has really changed for Noel. He’s still the 3rd round rookie with a rather promising profile that’s attached to a top ~10-12 QB in football. In my opinion, his upside at this range of the draft (considering his profile) is significantly higher than any other WR. He gets selected alongside certified JAGs such as Wan’Dale Robinson, Demario Douglas, Alec Pierce and Michael Wilson.
The market’s issue with Noel is that he seems almost certain to start his career as the WR4 in the Houston offense, behind all of Nico, Christian Kirk, and fellow rookie Jayden Higgins in the pecking order. While this is likely true, he has several outs to becoming a legitimate contributor in Houston. Starting with the obvious, he has triple-contingent injury value should any of the “starters” go down. He also could just outright be better than both fellow rookie Jayden Higgins (who has some flaws in his profile) as well as aging veteran Christian Kirk (who is oft-injured and was sent to HOU for just a 7th round pick). Noel is obviously not someone you draft for early-season production, but there are many ways he can get there in the most important weeks of the fantasy season. I’m into the talent and am very willing to bet on it at this price point over the other WRs in his range that are clearly mediocre NFL talents.
